Hazel Creek Lake
If your anywhere near Northern Missouri and you like to fish then Hazel Creek Lake needs to be on your list of lakes to visit. Owned by the City of Kirksville, Hazel Creek Lake is one of two municipal water supply lakes. The lake covers 530 acres and was formed by a dam completed in the summer of 1981. Since enrollment in the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Community Assistance Program, The Department of Conservation has constructed one courtesy dock, two parking lots, two boat ramps and two privies making this a must fish lake.
